Upcoming Funding Opportunity

The Sprout Fund is now accepting applications for Micro Spark awards of up to $15,000 supporting projects that engage young children in the creative use of technology and media.

Micro Spark applications are due by 5pm on Friday, December 2, 2011. Visit Sprout’s website to download application materials. A complete application includes project narrative, budget, timeline, and references. Submit your application to spark@sproutfund.org by the deadline to be considered for funding.

Remember, successful Micro Spark applicants are those that propose a new and exciting uses of technology, media, and the arts to inspire creativity and learning by children ages birth to eight. Projects led by multidisciplinary teams with strong community partnerships are encouraged.

Draft Application Review and Pre-Deadline Workshop

As always, Sprout is happy to review draft applications and provide feedback up to one week prior to the application deadline. Submit your draft by email to spark@sproutfund.org.

Also, Sprout is hosting a pre-deadline application workshop on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 9 to 11am at The Waffle Shop in Pittsburgh’s East End. Join us over breakfast for one-on-one discussions with Sprout staff about your Micro Spark application.
