On Tuesday, October 4th, 2011 from 12:00 AM until 11:59 PM, all gifts to local organizations of $25 or more will be matched by The Pittsburgh Foundation through pittsburghgives.org. A gift of any amount also qualifies for a match from UPMC.

Named the Pittsburgh Day of Giving, the event provides a wonderful opportunity for donors to make their contributions go even further. Rather than going to one group,  donors can allocate their donations to the non-profit they wish to support.
