“Education is in an era of change, potential and opportunity, all of which require experience and responsibility to ensure we can maximize learning opportunities for all,” said Tyler Samstag, Executive Director of Remake Learning. “The future requires us to deconstruct the silos that keep organizations separate and instead work together as a committed learning ecosystem across different fields in order to reimagine what learning in the greater Pittsburgh can truly be.”
Remake Learning was founded in 2007 and formed the Council in 2014 to bring together leading executives and learning scientists in business, higher education, public education, civic and cultural organizations, foundations, and government to strategically support the greater Pittsburgh region’s efforts to remake learning in all the places where children and youth learn.
