Dr. Caroline Johns currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools for the Northgate School District.  Previously, she served as the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning and elementary principal in the Moon Area School District.  Her first administrative position was in her hometown of Sewickley where she served as a middle school assistant principal in the Quaker Valley School District.

Dr. Johns has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Master of Education from Ohio University, an Educational Specialist in Administration degree from Cleveland State University, and her doctorate in Administrative and Policy Studies at the University of Pittsburgh.

Throughout her time in education, Dr. Johns has maintained one basic philosophy: always stay focused on doing what is best for kids. She resides in Moon Township with her husband and son.

Dr. Johns is a member of the Remake Learning Council.
