Ramp Up Fellowship
Assemble
Are you 18-24 and interested in being a teaching artist or an informal educator? Do you know someone in that age bracket who might be interested? Have them apply today for the Ramp Up Fellowship at Assemble with this application form.
Assemble’s Ramp Up Fellowship is recruiting 18-24-year-olds who are interested in learning how to work with youth while teaching in out-of-school time and community spaces. The program prioritizes youth who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA, and/or other oppressed identities.
This is a paid opportunity, up to 20 hours a week that runs until the end of May 2024. This is supported through Partner4Work Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funds and a Remake Learning Moonshoot Grant. Fellows must be eligible for TANF support. If you need assistance with your application or have questions, please email our Ramp Up Coordinator, Emily Armstrong at emily@assemblepgh.org.
If you are interested in hosting a Ramp Up Fellow to learn from your organization, please reach out to Nina Barbuto at nina@assemblepgh.org. Assemble is looking for partners for field trips, and opportunities for the fellows to job shadow, be guest teachers, and potentially be hired by your place of work for summer camp staff.
