Fellowship for STEM Practitioners at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh
Looking for community and inspiration to strengthen your equity work? Our new Fellowship program is welcoming informal STEM practitioners who are Black, Brown, people with disabilities, and/or neurodivergent. The program will explore how aquaria, botanical gardens, makerspaces, museums, and zoos integrate anti-racism and anti-ableism–and collectively, we will draw on our learning to articulate and encourage a liberatory future for our field. The program features an in-person convening on June 20 as well as a series of virtual sessions and activities, for a total of about 80 hours. Participants will receive a $2,000 stipend.
