Pilot for AI Ed tech skills tracking and development
Hi .
Local educator here of many years, and now I am working on an AI education startup.
As you all know, AI is bringing unprecedented changes to education at every level. After 23 years as a professor, I became very familiar with adapting to new technology—some of which made a lasting difference, and some that turned out to be hype (MOOCs, for example).
I left academia to work on practical education technology because it’s clear we now have an opportunity to make a meaningful, lasting impact. After extensive research and exploring many directions, we found a way to use AI to address a challenge we’ve been trying to solve for years: tracking and developing student skills.
In my previous role at La Roche University, I often heard students and parents ask the same question—especially in Humanities programs:
“But what skills will they really learn?”
That question inspired my new mission.
I co-founded YourClassroom.ai with an insightful and creative computer scientist/MBA to create a platform—and accompanying services—that helps schools track and develop the real-world skills students need. We are now seeking innovative, future-ready school districts, technical schools, non-profit education centers and colleges to partner with us in a pilot of this system.
Our AI-powered Skills Tracking and Development platform is designed to:
-
Track and validate transferable skills—critical thinking, collaboration, digital literacy, and more—across grade levels.
-
Provide teachers and students with actionable insights to promote growth and personal accountability.
-
Enhance communication with families about skill development and career readiness.
Any organization that embraces innovation, preparing students for the future, and embracing cutting-edge approaches, we
Thanks for connecting on LinkedIn. I’m sure we have met at one of the local education conferences, Remake Learning, or one of the others. I know we have some connections in common in the region’s extremely connected education community! But I know you’re extremely busy, especially with the school year winding down, so I’ll be brief.

This pilot would be a great fit for any organization interested in innovation, preparing students for the future, and embracing cutting-edge approaches.
The pilot would be free during the development period (6 months to a year), and we would also provide your faculty with free access to our AI training platform for teachers.
