Here’s the lineup for season 6:

The new season kicks off today, March 5th, with Louka Parry, CEO + Founder of The Learning Future. As one of Australia’s top innovators, Parry speaks on futures, leadership, education, and transformation. Through his work with The Learning Future, Louka is committed to transforming learning structures, systems and societies that further empower individuals to develop the key human capabilities that matter most now and into the future.


On March 12th, Gregg and Ryan speak with Ana Homayoun, an academic advisor and early career development expert working at the intersection of executive functioning skills, technology, and personal energy management. Her most recent book, Erasing the Finish Line: The New Blueprint for Success Beyond Grades and College Admission, focuses on the fundamental skills all students and young adults need to thrive.


On March 19th, Gregg and Ryan are joined by Jean-Claude Brizard, President and CEO of Digital Promise Global, a global, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization focused on shaping the future of learning and advancing equitable education systems by bridging solutions across research, practice, and technology.


After spring break, Deborah Quazzo visits Gregg and Ryan on April 9th. As Managing Partner of GSV Ventures, Deborah invests in education and workforce skills technologies that are disrupting the $7 Trillion global sector. In addition, she is co-founder of the ASU+GSV Summit, The preeminent gathering of leaders in education and workforce skilling.


On April 16th, Bill Hite stops by the studio. As president and CEO of KnowledgeWorks, Bill leads an educational non-profit focused on helping partners work together to make learning meaningful and relevant for students, educators and leaders. Additionally, as the Superintendent in Residence in the Broad Center at the Yale School of Management, Bill spends time preparing and supporting transformational leaders from diverse backgrounds.


On April 23rd, Gregg and Ryan interview Erin Mote, Executive Director and Co-Founder of InnovateEDU, a nonprofit organziation that catalyzes education transformation by bridging gaps in data, policy, practice, and research to center the needs of the field in accelerating innovation towards an equitable, inclusive and radically different future for all learners. Erin leads the organization and its major projects, including its two signature products: Cortex, a next-generation personalized learning platform, and Landing Zone – a cutting-edge infrastructure as a service data product.


On April 30th, Gregg and Ryan interview Pasi Sahlberg, professor of educational leadership at the University of Melbourne in Australia. With past leadership and advisory roles in national education systems, including serving as director general at the Ministry of Education and Culture in Finland, Pasi is a noted analyst of educational systems, researched school reforms, and advised governments about education around the world.


After a taking a short break to enjoy Remake Learning Days, Gregg and Ryan return on May 21st to speak with our own Tyler Samstag. You might know of Tyler as the executive director of Remake Learning and leads transformED, an initiative at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit that supports schools in starting, scaling, and sustaining transformational change. But you might not yet know that Tyler is a proud Pittsburgh Public Schools graduate, an AmeriCorps alum, holds a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in English Education, and graduated from the Mind, Brain, and Education program at Harvard University, where he was an Urban Scholars Fellow. Be sure to tune in to this episode to unpack some big ideas with Tyler.


On May 28th, Gregg and Ryan chat with Jenee Henry Wood, chief learning officer at Transcend, a national nonprofit that supports school communities to create and spread extraordinary, equitable learning environments. At Transcend, Jenee works to ensure that the organization is continuously improving its efforts to reimagine schooling and share these insights with the world.


The season wraps up on June 4th with Meredith Halpern-Ranzer, co-founder and Chief Executive Tinkerer at Tinkercast, a kids’ media company that inspires curious kids and their grown-ups to see and be the WOW in the world! Meredith sparks kids’ sense of wonder, ignite their creativity, and inspires them to become the thinkers and tinkerers that will shape tomorrow.
