Pittsburgh’s Remake Learning network’s Remake Learning Days Festival is growing internationally.

Christchurch, New Zealand, Doncaster, United Kingdom and Uruguay have been added to this year’s festival on April 20-May 26.

Launched in 2016 and funded by The Grable Foundation, Remake Learning Days offers hands-on learning events for children and their families. Locally, creators and organizations across the region will hold events May 4–23. Events are held across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

In Doncaster, a city of about 300,000 in the north of England, the festival will be a huge celebration of the city’s rich history, culture and communities on May 20-23, according to Jade Ross, an engagement officer with the Doncaster Council.

Events focusing on arts and culture, professional development, outdoor learning, science, technology and youth voice will be held across the city in collaboration with businesses, employers, voluntary and community groups and education providers.
