Taught at Carnegie Mellon University for 31 years. Served as Associate Head of Drama before co-founding and then directing the Entertainment Technology Center. During my tenure as ETC Executive Director I expanded it into a global operation with outposts in Australia, Japan, Silicon Valley, South Korea, Singapore, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Since 2012 retirement I have consulted and taught topics as varied as esports and the Metaverse.
