The Personalized Learning Ambassadors Program is bringing educators and instructional coaches together from 10 districts and 1 out of school time organization to explore, implement, and share personalized strategies, leveraging the Personalized Learning framework developed by local leaders across the region.
The ambassadors will:
- Act as co-designers, providing valuable input and feedback from the educator perspective, to help the Personalized Learning Working Group operationalize the framework and supporting tools in ways that can be implemented and scaled across the region
- Engage in collaborative learning focused on best practices with KnowledgeWorks, a national thought leader in personalized learning
- Elevate examples of personalized learning currently being used and explore strategies to infuse elements of the framework into instructional practice
- Connect with peers from a diverse group of schools and community organizations to brainstorm possibilities and share lessons learned
- Share new ideas, key findings, and lessons learned as an “ambassador” for learner-centered instructional practices through peer/leader connections, a cohort showcase and where applicable, in local and regional meetings
