UnConference: From Representation to Inclusion

Trying Together, in partnership with the Neighborhood Museum
program, will host UnConference: From Representation to
Inclusion on Saturday, October 4, at the Carnegie Museum of Art.
The UnConference will spotlight immigrant children and their
families, with a focus on how early childhood educators can
foster supportive and inclusive learning environments. Attendees
with hear from a keynote speaker and a dynamic parent panel,
engage in a collaborative group activity, and choose from
workshops led by local organizations serving immigrant families.
Workshop topics include inclusive practices, trauma-informed
communication, play and literacy, honoring identity, building
trust, and practical strategies for educators.
