The Technovation Girls program equips young women (ages 8-18) to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. With the support of volunteer mentors and parents, girls work in teams to code mobile apps that address real-world problems. This is the first year that Pennsylvania will be joining this global competition. Join Amy Davis McShane and Linda Muller from the Allegheny Intermediate Unit to hear how you can get involved. This session will include an overview of the program, resources available, and everything else you need to know to get started. This is open to all students in Pennsylvania and attendees for this introductory session can be teachers, students, public librarians, possible mentors, etc.
Choose between two information sessions on Monday, October 23, 2024: one at 11:00 a.m. and one at 3:00 p.m.
Choose the time that is convenient to you when you register.
