Professional Learning Workshop: Arduino for Beginners
Arduino is an open-source, programmable circuit board that can be integrated into a wide variety of makerspace projects. During this beginners’ workshop, participants will explore the Arduino circuit board and will learn the basics of how to program the Arduino circuit to create fun, interactive projects to share with students in the computer science/STEM classroom.
Lunch will be provided.
Background | From Arduino.cc: Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs – light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message – and turn it into an output – activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online. You can tell your board what to do by sending a set of instructions to the microcontroller on the board.
