Join us for an exciting event at MuseumLab where we will explore the power of thinking and learning and the connections to Harvard Graduate School of Education, Project Zero ideas, and frameworks!
The Graduate School of Education at Harvard University has a core research institute called Project Zero. Its mission is to understand and nurture human potentials –such as learning, thinking, ethics, intelligence and creativity –in all human beings. The research examines the nature of such potentials, the contexts and conditions in which they develop, and the practices that support their flourishing. The Project Zero Pittsburgh Conference series is aimed at connecting the practice of local educators to the historic research ideas and frameworks of Project Zero.
The Learning and Thinking that Make a Difference conference on October 14th will focus on core thoughlines, or big questions that will thread through all conference experiences.
How do we create the conditions for deep thinking and learning within our classrooms, buildings, and school communities?
How can we design for and with diverse learners and in diverse contexts?
What does it mean to understand? How does understanding develop?
