Join us for an engaging workshop to hear youth perspectives about available and desirable learning experiences that develop civic competencies and knowledge, and to co-create a map of opportunities across Southwest Pennsylvania.
To showcase youth perspectives on civic learning in the Greater Pittsburgh region, create connections and generate data for a civic pathways and opportunities map. Youth are invited and welcomed to attend.
We know democracy depends on youth thriving. In this workshop, we will explore what young people are looking for so that they feel seen and hear the invitation to engage and shape the future of their community. From youth engaged in programs across the region, we will hear how they engage and why the spaces they choose are meaningful to them.
You will then have the opportunity to co-create a map of civic learning opportunities around Pittsburgh, building on the programs, communities and spaces that you know best.
Following the event, join us for drinks at Federal Galley to further connect and imagine as part of this vibrant, cross-sector collaboration.
Youth leaders, youth, educators, civic organizers, and community members from across Southwest Pennsylvania.
RSVP today and be part of creating meaningful, youth-led civic learning experiences in our community!
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to shape the future of civic learning with insights directly from the youth who experience it.
