As a passionate advocate for robotics education and a seasoned professional with over 30 years in telecommunications, I am dedicated to bridging the STEM learning gap experienced by disadvantaged children in underserved communities. My career began at 15, focusing on cable TV and cellular technology, and culminated in a successful retirement. This extensive background has provided me with a deep understanding of STEM education's role in shaping future generations. I hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Aberdeen University, along with numerous workshops and courses. My project management and product development expertise in robotics education allows me to drive initiatives that inspire young minds. Through my extensive mentoring experience, I’ve witnessed how robotics education empowers students with skills such as coding, engineering, and problem-solving. These are increasingly vital in today's job market.
