Tom Akiva

Dr. Tom Akiva conducts research about continuous improvement and professional learning, youth program features, social emotional skills, equity in out-of-school learning, and citywide ecosystem approaches to learning and development. He's an associate professor and chair of the department of Health and Human Development at the University of Pittsburgh School of Education.
