TINA DIETRICH
My name is Tina Dietrich. I am the Director of STEAM and Innovation in Woodland Hills School District, located outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to accepting this position I was an elementary (K-6) teacher, most recently teaching 3rd grade. Last school year (2022-2023) WHSD adopted a STEAM Curriculum (VEX Robotics) that focused on Computer Science in grades K-5. We are now in our second year using this program. I have expanded our program to now include grades K-12, in a variety of ways. My focus as the Director of STEAM and Innovation is to find ways to expand our Computer Science program within our K-12 schools as well as within the community. My passion specifically focuses on involving GIRLS in the STEAM field.
