IDEA Training & Consultation Coordinator, Assistive Technology & Inclusive Practices at Allegheny Intermediate Unit

Scott is an assistive technology consultant who supports students with disabilities in the Greater Pittsburgh region as a member of the Training & Consultation (TaC) team at Allegheny Intermediate Unit. He has also previously served as a statewide consultant for the Pennsylvania Training & Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN), supporting school districts and intermediate units throughout western Pennsylvania. Scott began his career as a teacher at the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf and continues to interpret for the Deaf and DeafBlind around the Diocese of Pittsburgh. His creative endeavors include playing trombone and tuba in the Pine Creek Community Band, assistive technology making (3D printing and woodworking), and cutting scherenschnitte as a longtime member of the Guild of American Papercutters.
