Michele Ritchlin

Michele Ritchlin serves as the Executive Director of the Ohio Afterschool Network (OAN), a role she assumed in October 2020. With over 15 years of experience in the afterschool program sector, Ritchlin brings a wealth of expertise in project management and federal grant administration. Her project management skills were honed during her 12-year tenure as Executive Director of Afterschool Programs of Lancaster, where she successfully expanded before and afterschool programs to all elementary and junior high schools in the district, demonstrating her ability to plan, execute, and oversee large-scale initiatives. Ritchlin's project management prowess is further evidenced by her successful administration of federal grants with an annual budget of $1,200,000. She effectively managed a team of 30 employees while implementing complex projects, including an extensive educational summer program and a free summer lunch program that served over 16,000 lunches annually. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from The Ohio State University, Ritchlin combines her academic background with practical experience in strategic planning and community partnership development.
