I serve as an Education Program Specialist for the Hammel Family Human Rights Initiative at Penn State University. We team up with Pennsylvania school districts and educational entities to help educators teach and discuss difficult topics effectively. Informed by the latest research, we engage teachers in inquiry-based professional learning through programs customized to meet their students’ needs. Participating educators investigate their own practices then transfer their learning to engage students in inquiry. We are currently working to expand in the Pittsburgh area for the 2024-2025 school year and would love to meet with community members within the Remake Learning network. I look forward to making connections with Pittsburgh's amazing educators!
