Lori Phillips has nearly 20 years of experience in K-12 education. Lori joined KnowledgeWorks in 2015 as a Director of Teaching & Learning and has worked with schools, districts, and states across the country to develop and implement innovations leading to college, career, and workforce readiness for all learners. In her most recent role, Lori is partnering with the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction, as well as other national partners, to scale personalized, competency-based learning statewide through a multi-year effort. Lori has expertise facilitating professional learning opportunities for educators, leaders, and learning community members that drive success from classrooms to system transformation.
Prior to joining KnowledgeWorks, Lori worked in Reynoldsburg City Schools, as a secondary-level educator, leader, and academy designer. Lori helped the district transform from a comprehensive high school to four interest-based academies where she acted as a leader and educator within the eSTEM Academy.
Lori co-leads Remake Learning's Personalized Learning Working Group.
