Lingaire Njie, MSW is the Director of Operations at Catapult Greater Pittsburgh. She has a diverse professional background in the areas of case management, community advocacy and engagement, urban redevelopment, adult learning, and project management. Lingaire was previously the Manager for Out-of-School Time Community Partnerships for Pittsburgh Public Schools. Prior to returning to Pittsburgh in 2014, Lingaire worked as a Family Advocate at East Baltimore Development, Inc., which at the time was the largest urban redevelopment project in the country. During her time as the Social Work Director at the Caroline Friess Center, in addition to connecting enrolled students with necessary resources, she also developed curriculum in the areas of life skills and professionalism. At Pittsburgh Public Schools she successfully managed major endeavors such as the annual PPS Parent Survey, the district-wide Parent Advisory Council, and the annual Parent and Family Involvement Policy review process. As the Community School Site Manager at Pittsburgh Langley K-8, she oversaw partnerships and logistics with a strong roster of community organizations and agencies that continue to collaborate to improve outcomes for students and their families. Lingaire believes strongly that intentional relationship building is the key to successful and productive partnerships. She is a proud product of Pittsburgh Public Schools, as well as a current PPS parent, and she received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Washington University in St. Louis.
