
Kevin Gallagher
Kevin Gallagher is an experienced educator and department leader at Keystone Oaks High School, where he has taught mathematics and computer/data science since 2003. He holds a Master of Science in Applied Computational Mathematics and Statistics with a specialization in Data Science from the University of Notre Dame, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in Education from Allegheny College. Throughout his career, Kevin has taught a variety of advanced courses including AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus BC. He is also nationally board-certified and has received multiple honors, including the Horace Mann Award for Teaching and Leadership Excellence and recognition from the American Consortium for Equity in Education.
In addition to his teaching roles, Kevin has served in leadership positions such as President and Vice President of the Keystone Oaks Education Association. He is an active conference participant and has served as a reader for the AP CSP exam. Kevin is passionate about data science, equity in education, and integrating technology into the classroom. Outside of work, he enjoys projecting and evaluating NFL and MLB players, running half marathons, and managing fantasy sports leagues. His goals include continuing to innovate in the classroom and supporting students through equitable, engaging, and data-driven instruction.
