The students and staff at Butler Area School District are doing incredible things. They're the real stars of this show. It's my honor to get to talk about their accomplishments! I'm Kara Droney, the Director of Communication at Butler Area School District. I collaborate with the administrative team as well as teachers, students, parents and community members to share our story. Over the years, I've worked with numerous educational institutions, from public and private schools to higher education and nonprofit organizations, to ensure their communication efforts are aligned to their mission and strategic plan. I earned my bachelor's degree in public relations from Syracuse University and my master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
