Executive Director at Pittsburgh DataWorks (aka The DataJam)

I am the Executive Director of The DataJam, a team-based data science learning experience and competition designed to guide high school and community college students through a complete data science project of their choosing. The DataJam provides ample resources to facilitate this journey including a trained mentor, a collection of data sources, a library of guides for each step of The DataJam competition. The DataJam (aka Pittsburgh DataWorks) is a nonprofit organization that started in Pittsburgh, PA in 2013 and has grown to accept high school and community college teams from throughout the USA. Participation in The DataJam is completely free. All participants receive certificates of completion and participation awards. Judy Cameron is a professor at the University of Pittsburgh and has been actively involved in science outreach to the public for the past 40 years.
