My name is Joshua Montano. I work in the Pennsylvania Educators Diversity Consoritum (PEDC) as a co-coordinator on the DiversifyED project, a program meant to address inequities in recruitment and retainent of educators of color in the SWPA region. Our InnovationLabs program seeks to connect experienced educators who have a vested interest in addressing needs for upcoming and experienced educators of color and to promote culturally relevant and sustaining education in their workplace.
