Heather Bachman

Dr. Heather Bachman is a Professor in the Applied Developmental Psychology program in the Department of Health and Human Development in the School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh. Heather works closely with early learning partners in the region who are committed to equity-focused programming and learning. Dr. Bachman has an extensive background in early academic and social development, family and classroom processes, and policy-relevant research with low-income families.
