Hailee B. Roye, a Pittsburgh native and first-generation college student, serves as a consultant for the PEDC as the Southwest PA Regional Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood from Tennessee State University and a Master's in Public Policy from Vanderbilt University. Currently, she is the Practice and Policy Manager at Trying Together, where she leads initiatives to enhance early childhood education. With a background in championing students' rights and equitable resources at The Education Trust, Hailee has also collaborated with media outlets like NPR on critical education issues and worked to address funding disparities in Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Her experience as a pre-k teacher, combined with her research and policy work at the State Collaborative on Reforming Education in Nashville, Tennessee, and the NAACP in Washington, D.C., fuels her mission to make education equitable and accessible for all. As an advocate for innovative teaching methods and strong parent engagement, Hailee is deeply involved in efforts that align with Remake Learning's mission. Her work reflects a commitment to transforming education to inspire a brighter future for children and communities.
