Erin Gatz
Dr. Erin Gatz is Head of Partnerships for PLUS – Personalized Learning Squared, a human-computer tutoring program at Carnegie Mellon University that aims to double math learning for K-12 students. Prior to this role, Erin was the Director of Research and Impact with Remake Learning and a Visiting Researcher with the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at CMU. Erin is also Founder of Prototype PGH, a 501(c)3 that aims to build gender and racial equity through workshops, tech access, and peer support. Erin has a BA from the University of Waterloo, MEd from the University of Toronto, and PhD in Learning Sciences and Policy from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a first generation college graduate and a proud alumni of Brashear High School in Pittsburgh.
