She thrives on opportunities to discuss the future of education with others. She has a passion for using technology to enhance education and a talent for collaborating with educators to attain this objective. She is an innovator, constantly looking for different ways to design, develop and integrate technologies and believes student engagement is the key to student achievement. She obtained a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from Duquesne University. She has served as a Technology Integration Specialist and a Computer Science teacher for Avonworth School District and is now the Principal Program Manager for CMU CS Academy, a project at Carnegie Mellon University that has developed a novel, world-class, online, interactive high school computer science curriculum free for all to use. Additionally, She is an educational adviser for Digital Dream Labs and the Founder of CSTA Pittsburgh.
