Erica Hughes

As the Girls Art and Maker Group Program Manager at ARYSE, I integrate my background in librarianship, psychology and arts into every endeavor. The worlds that I am interested in building prioritize freedom, love and imagination namely I'm interested in the possibilities we create with young people. I've worked as a psychology researcher with ages 2-4 as well as working in OST programming with ARYSE with 12-18 year-olds. Across these experiences I marvel at the creativity, care and humor of youth. Currently, I'm interested in media literacy, counterstorytelling, and information networks.
