Emily Sanders
I bring over two decades of dynamic experience in K-12 education, having journeyed from roles as an English teacher to assistant principal, technology director, director of academics and innovation and assistant superintendent. In addition to my extensive career in education, I share my expertise as an adjunct professor at Waynesburg University, where I teach two online courses on Literacy and Curriculum Design. I also serve as the Director of Matt’s Maker Space Professional Development Outreach Division.
My passion lies in spearheading future-focused learning initiatives, empowering educators to reimagine teaching and learning paradigms. I advocate for transformative approaches such as Personalized Learning, STEM, AI integration, Career Readiness, Design Thinking, and Maker Learning, guiding educational communities toward impactful change. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for our students, preparing them to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
