Casey Mindlin

Casey Mindlin serves as the Executive Director of STEM Coding Lab (SCL), a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit that provides computer science education to K-8 youth who would not otherwise have access to it. With 10 teachers on staff, SCL provides 140 computer science classes every week across 38 locations and 11 school districts. SCL provides weekly CS instruction during the school day, the afterschool period and summer months, offering coursework to the most under-resourced K-8 youth of the SWPA region. In his capacity as Executive Director, Casey oversees all aspects of the organization’s work, including educational programming, external communications and development, partnerships, and more.
