Beth Hutson
Dr. Beth Hutson is the Assistant Superintendent for the Mount Pleasant Area School District, where she is dedicated to creating innovative learning opportunities for students. With a rich 15-year tenure as an Assistant Superintendent in Fayette and Westmoreland counties, Dr. Hutson has a proven track record in enhancing educational practices. Her previous roles include serving as a teacher educator at IUP, a regional curriculum specialist, director of curriculum, instruction, and assessment, supervisor of special education, and associate director of the Center for Rural Gifted Education.
Dr. Hutson’s career reflects her commitment to equity and justice in education, and she actively seeks to collaborate with industry and community partners to support and advance student learning. Her leadership is driven by a passion for providing equitable, forward-thinking educational experiences and fostering a collaborative approach to addressing the needs of all students.
