Autumn Turk

Dr. Autumn Turk is Director of Curriculum & Development at Burrell School District. She believes in personalizing professional development, providing ongoing, embedded coaching for teachers, increasing family engagement, shifting school culture, and making learning relevant and personalized for our students. Autumn has served as a principal at the middle school and elementary levels, an academic intervention specialist, and a first grade teacher. She was also part the Parents as Allies (Kidsburgh) team who presented at the 2024 HundrED Innovation Summit to share our work around family engagement and visited schools in Helsinki, Finland to learn about how we can re-imagine school to be more human-centered and focused on the whole child. Dr. Turk is an active member of the SWPA Personalized Learning Network, AASA Learning 2025, and has collaboratively led several Act 45 leadership courses with the WIU.
