Stephen Luciano

Stephen currently serves as Technical and Education Manager at BNY Mellon Fab Lab Carnegie Science Center. With an educational background in Biology and Anthropology, Stephen has used his role at the Fab Lab to combine his love of science education with his childhood passion for making, experimenting, and myth-busting. Stephen believes passionately that *everyone* is a maker, and that making is for everyone. Over almost a decade’s experience in maker education at Carnegie Science Center, Stephen has helped bring digital fabrication education to over 25,000 students of all ages and abilities across the country. Stephen has trained with the LUMA institute in Pittsburgh, the iPAGE Program at Science Museum of Minnesota, and has presented at numerous Maker and DEAI-centered conferences.
