Alyssa Moore

As a Curriculum Specialist for Intermediate Unit 1 (IU1), Alyssa Moore leads and supports science, STEM, and computer science curriculum opportunities within the curriculum department and partners. She acts as a project manager for curriculum initiatives and provides support to teachers of the 25 districts of Washington, Fayette, and Greene counties as well as IU1’s three special education schools. Alyssa began her career with IU1 in 2014, serving as a middle school/ high school science teacher in their alternative education school for three years. Since then, she has earned her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction to support her efforts in enhancing her professional knowledge in her current role. Alyssa also has recently presented at conferences including CSforAll PA, National Dropout Prevention Conference, PETE & C, and TRETC.
