CMU STEELS Outreach in Elementary Classrooms
Hello Pittsburgh teachers! We at Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering have a lot of inspirational graduate student researchers, who are enthusiastic and excited about STEAM (especially engineering) outreach! We are currently serving schools that are within a 20 minute Uber or Lyft ride of CMU’s campus, with an emphasis on public classrooms and OST programs.
If you are interested in having CMU graduate students visit your classroom, either to support an upcoming lesson, or to bring an NGSS/STEELS lesson or activity, please fill out the form below. As former K-12 teachers ourselves, we are looking forward to working together with you all in order to better support Pittsburgh teachers in anyway we can. We especially aim to work more closely with Pittsburgh Public School faculty this Spring!
