The transformED Change Studio

The transformED Change Studio convenes small groups of educators in similar roles from across districts to collectively explore and enact change around a specific theme or topic.  This year, we are offering two studios.

Studio 1: The Joyful Middle School Journey

Let’s make middle school more than an awkward in-between. This studio invites you to focus on joyful learning for your middle school students. Discover how to leverage the promise of early adolescence to create a truly joyful learning environment in a middle school specials class.  Middle school specials teachers along with a teammate of their school’s choice are invited to apply for this opportunity.

Studio 2: Purposeful Paths to Graduation

Every high school wants its students to graduate with certain skills, knowledge, and experiences that will serve them well in post-secondary life. As we design these opportunities, we must consider our rapidly changing world. Participants in this studio will engage in a deep exploration of how we can make these opportunities meaningful and relevant at this pivotal time.  Educators, such as teachers and school counselors, who work directly with high school students on career exploration, graduation requirements, senior projects, internships, etc., as well as others who design and coordinate these opportunities are invited to apply.
