Cybersecurity PD Program for 9-12 Grade Teachers
The University of Pittsburgh is pleased to offer a “fully funded with stipend provided” GenCyber program, for 30 multidisciplinary high school teachers, focusing on teachers’ preparedness for teaching cybersecurity by helping them build a foundation in what cybersecurity means and how to support students in exploring different cybersecurity areas. The GenCyber@Pitt program includes pre-camp activities, interactive hands-on camp sessions, lesson planning sessions, engagement with teachers who incorporate cybersecurity in their classrooms, and post-camp support.
The program will begin with remote pre-camp sessions in April 2024 and a remote synchronous Summer Camp from Monday 6/24/2024 through Friday 6/28/2024.
Application closes on January 30 or when seats are filled.
