Pulse Check: Artificial Intelligence and Education

AI and Education Pulse Check
AI is reshaping education in ways that are still unfolding. Rather than rushing to answers, these Pulse Checks are an opportunity to pause together, reflect, and make sense of these shifts as a community. This is a space for dialogue and shared learning with the goal of our time together being the surfacing of needs, possibilities, and ways we might accelerate knowledge growth in this area. We hope you’ll join us to explore how AI is showing up in classrooms, how it’s shaping teaching and learning, and what values we want to center in this moment of change.
Through conversation and co-creation, we’ll surface questions, tensions, and possibilities emerging from our work.
What to expect:
Space to share experiences and concerns
A focus on relationships, collaboration, and collective sense-making
A living artifact that captures the questions and insights we generate together
Who should attend?
Formal and informal educators, librarians, and learning designers
School and district leaders
Community partners and youth advocates
Participants should have a sense of the current and emerging uses of AI within their entire organization and/or district. Given that space is limited, we ask that each organization/district send only one participant so as to provide space for a diversity of organizations and perspectives in our collective sense making. Participants of pulse checks are kindly requested to attend both sessions and currently be working in the focus area of the Pulse Check.
