Pennsylvania Creates: Exploring AI, Education & Student Agency

How do we prepare young people not simply to use artificial intelligence, but to question it, create with it, and understand how it works?

Join Remake Learning, in partnership with the AI Strike Team, Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center, and the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, for an interactive gathering exploring what AI literacy can look like when we put curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and human judgment at the center.

Designed for educators, school and district leaders, industry and technology partners, and others interested in AI and education, this experience will bring adults and young people together to explore these questions firsthand.

Through conversations, hands-on activities, and live demonstrations, participants will explore the role of AI in learning, experiment with AI as a creative thought partner, and consider what it means to prepare young people to actively shape an AI-powered future.

The day will also mark the launch of Pennsylvania Creates, a new statewide initiative inviting young people to move from simply consuming AI to questioning, creating with, and helping shape it.

Interested in Bringing Students?

We are looking for a small number of students ages 14–18 to participate in the interactive AI experience. If you are interested in bringing students, please contact tyler@remakelearning.org.

In Partnership with AI Horizons

This event is being held in partnership with AI Horizons on the same day as the AI Horizons conference, but at a separate location at Bakery Square. You do not need to be attending AI Horizons to participate.
