Global Learning for a Local Workforce Virtual Workshop
Global Learning for a Local Workforce is a professional development opportunity for educators, counselors, and administrators who are interested in bringing workforce and future readiness — with a global lens — to their students.
Join our virtual workshop from 9AM-12PM on Wednesday, October 14, where you will…
– Learn about The Get CAREERS (Career Access, Readiness, and Employment Experiences for Regional Students) Toolkit from the Education Alliance — an innovative initiative to bridge the gap between education and industry
– Explore strengths-based approaches for preparing our immigrant-origin students for the workforce with Reimagining Migration
– Hear from Dr. Illah Nourbakhsh at CMU about how AI is (re)shaping the future of learning and work
Middle and high school educators from all content areas in Southwestern Pennsylvania and West Virginia are invited to participate.
This session is offered as a standalone professional development opportunity and is the second session for our 2026 educator cohort.
Act 48 credit is available for PA educators.
