Elevate Learning Conference (for teachers and learners) by PAIS
The Elevate Learning Conference is the annual one-day teaching and learning event by the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools (PAIS). This year, the event takes over the campus of Carlow University in Pittsburgh, with a single-day conference filled with nationally renowned speakers and educational workshops spanning some of the most timely and impactful issues in education today. And with optional pre-conference workshops and performances, attendees have the chance to double their time at Elevate Learning, expanding the conference offerings by an additional day.

Oct 18 – Pre-Conference Workshop and Performance
2:00-5:00 pm – Reframing Student Well-Being with Isaiah Noriega
6:30-9:00 pm – Schooled, the Musical (first-ever staged reading of the first two acts!)
Oct 19 – Elevate Learning Conference
8-8:30 Arrival and breakfast
8:30-9:30 AI Panel Presentation – Education in the Dawning Age of AI with Peter Nilsson, Dr. Illah R. Nourbakhsh, and Dr. Jennifer Keating
9:45-10:45 Keynote Presentation – Bring the Science of Writing Alive in Your Classroom with Releasing Writers with Dr. Leslie Laud
11-12 Workshop ONE (chosen from Conference Track 1, featuring workshops on Learning Differences)
12-12:45 LUNCH
12:45-1:45 Workshop TWO (chosen from Conference Track 2, featuring workshops on AI in Education)
2-3 Workshop THREE (chosen from Conference Track 3, featuring workshops on the Science and Design of Student Engagement)
