Code/Art: Introduction to Creative Coding

Learn code-based art lessons that expand your students’ creativity and teach computing skills.

• Open to all K-12 school teachers, no prior coding experience required
• Learn creative coding lessons using JavaScript, Scratch, and Tinkercad
• Easy-to-teach lessons align to national student competitions
• Upon proof of implementation, teachers receive a $100 gift card through Code/Art
• Act 48 hours will be awarded upon successful completion of the 2-day training. Please provide your PPID if you wish to receive Act 48 credit.
• 8 hours of virtual post-PD classroom support to deliver lessons
• Light breakfast and lunch will be provided; FREE onsite parking
• Please bring your own laptop
• Upon successful completion, district will receive $200 stipend per teacher to offset substitute costs (funding is through Code/Art)
