2024 Social Studies Symposium

Geared toward K-12 Social Studies educators, this biennial event gathers teachers from western Pennsylvania with local organizations promoting history to share resources, opportunities, and research for the benefit of students. A variety of Powertalks, 35-minute presentations on topics of interest to Social Studies teachers, will be offered to stimulate thinking about the best ways to engage students in learning historical thinking concepts.
