RFP: Enhancing Young Adults’ Economic Mobility through Social Capital
The Richard King Mellon Foundation opened a Social Capital RFP through its youth-focused Economic Mobility program. The Economic Mobility program serves young people ages 0-24 years old who live in low-income households in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.
The RFP calls for ideas for how:
- Youth-serving organizations can systematically teach young people the skills to develop and mobilize their personal social capital.
- Organizations can make changes in their institutional operating policies and designs to increase the prevalence of cross-socioeconomic status relationships.
The Richard King Mellon Foundation continues to accept applications to advance other Economic Mobility program outcomes via the General Application for Nonprofit and Public Sector Organizations.
