The State of Black Learning (SBL) strategically engages learning providers from across the country to help increase their learning and instructional effectiveness on behalf of Black students. SBL focuses on providing proven and innovative tools and strategies that help educators (traditional and non-traditional) support and advance the learning and social and emotional needs of Black students and their communities. The project works to disrupt the status quo in learning ecosystems across the country to benefit Black students. SBL unapologetically prioritizes Black students at the center of their educators’ professional development to best serve their needs, interests, and futures.
